Traffic Stop Lands Man In Jail Facing An Array Of Charges
New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A traffic stop in New Hartford landed a man in jail facing an array of charges. Officials say, 23-year-old Jesse L. Fisher failed to register his vehicle and was using license plates registered to another car. After further investigation, officials also determined that Fisher had an active warrant for Petit Larceny from the Town of New Hartford.
In addition to the traffic summons, New Hartford police say Fisher is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle, Insurance Lapse, and Improper Use of Plates. Fisher was taken to Oneida County Jail in lieu of bail. According to the report, the traffic stop occurred around 6:41 p.m. when Fisher was making a right turn off of State Route 8 South onto Kellogg Road where he failed to use his turn signal.
