Utica Police arrested three people after allegedly finding heroin and other drug paraphernalia in a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation.

Officers say during a traffic stop on Brinkerhoff Ave they found 24 bags of heroin totaling 8.6 grams and multiple hypodermic needles.

UPD charged Angela Liberatore, 29, of Madison, Alejandro Martinez, 31, of Utica and Tyler Shorey, 29 of Utica with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Liberatore and Shorey were also charged with Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.
