Traffic Stop Leads To Meth Bust In Rome

Three men are facing charges for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine following a traffic stop on Black River Boulevard in Rome.

34-year old Jason Johnston and 19-year old Codilee Whitehall of Rome and 19-year old Daryan Nichols of Boonville were arrested after Rome Police say officers found two active one pot "Meth Labs" and meth making materials in their vehicle.

All three were charged with manufacturing meth.  They're currently being held in Rome Police Lockup.

State Police were called to safely secure the chemicals and the labs.
