Whitesboro, NY (WIBX) - Sections of Whitesboro will see a change in their trash pickup day, as the village moves to a three day pickup schedule starting January 28th.

Eighteen streets are affected by the change, which moves their usually scheduled Tuesday pickup to Wednesday.

Streets with changed days include: Ablett, Davis, Dennison, Dewey, Dunham, Edgemont, Ellis, Ellmore, Elm, Fernbank, Jones, Linwood, Mohawk, North side of Main (even numbers only), Pleasant, Redfield, Sauquoit, and Wind.

Other sections of Whitesboro, including the South side will continue to be picked up on Monday, while streets north of Oriskany Boulevard and south of Main Street will still have Tuesday collections.

Officials with the Village say all other trash collection rules still apply. Those with any questions are encouraged to call the Village Office at (315) 736-1613 or the Public Works Department at (315) 736-7003.
