Travel Advisory For Utica

The New York State Department of Transportation has issued a travel advisory for motorists in Utica.

The Route 12 south ramp to State Street along with the State Street Ramp from Oriskany Street will be closed to traffic until 3:00 this afternoon due to construction work.

Motorists traveling east on Oriskany Street wishing to access Route 12 north will be directed to stay on Oriskany Street /5S east, left onto John Street, merge onto Genesee Street north, right onto Auert Ave, right onto I-790 west/Route 5 west, to Route 12 north.

Signed detours will be utilized to advise motorists of the ramp closures and direct traffic to the appropriate detour routes.
