Travel Advisory Issued For North-South Arterial

The New York State Department of Transportation has issued a Travel Advisory for next week for the North-South Arterial.

Beginning Tuesday, August 16 at 9:00 p.m. through Wednesday, August 17 at 6:00 a.m., Route 5/8/12 northbound between Burrstone Road and Court Street will be closed to traffic due to a bridge deck pour on the new Oriskany Street Bridge.

The Route 12 south ramp to State Street will also be closed as part of the work.

The DOT says signs have been in operation notifying motorists of the road closure.  Signed detours will also be in place.
