ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A trial is set to get underway in Rochester for a woman, her boyfriend and her two sons who are charged with killing the woman's estranged husband last summer.

Laura Rideout, Paul Tucci and Colin and Alexander Rideout are all being tried at once in state Supreme Court, where prosecutors and defense lawyers are scheduled to give their opening statements Friday.

They're charged with killing Craig Rideout, of Penfield, last summer and dumping his body in a wooded area in the Finger Lakes region. Authorities say Laura and Craig Rideout were getting divorced when Craig was slain inside his suburban Rochester home.

Police say his body was wrapped in a tarp and a corrosive liquid was poured on his face in an effort to make identifying him more difficult.
