Trooper Kills Suspect in Town of Berlin
A suspect wanted for questioning in connection with an investigation was shot to death by a State Police officer over the weekend.
According to a release from New York State Police the suspect was wanted for questioning in connection with an investigation being conducted by the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting occurred after troopers confronted the man in the Town of Berlin at approximately 7:30pm on Sunday, November 17, 2013.
The name of the man is being withheld at this time. The New York State Police are expected to release more information at a press conference scheduled to take place Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:00am at the Latham barracks.
