State police continue to investigate the death of 17 year old Anna-Rose Shove that occurred August 9, between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office has determined the cause of death to be drowning, but the manner of death is still under investigation.

Shove's body was found on a state owned beach about 100 yards northeast of Brennan's Beach Campground.

Troopers would like to talk to anyone who may have seen Shove on Sunday.

Troopers are also interested in identifying a medium to heavyset white man in his 20's or 30's, 5'7" -5'8" tall, with balding or short hair with a tattooed chest and arms.

They say this man was seen speaking with several other women on the beach.
