Troopers Investigate Fatal Head On Crash In Verona

State Police are investigating a fatal two-car crash that happened Monday night on Skinner Road in the Town of Vernon

Troopers say 18-year old Gabrielle March was traveling westbound when a vehicle operated by 27-year old Jacob Ross crossed over into the westbound lane and hit March head-on.

They say Ross, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was extracted by the Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and taken to Faxton-St. Lukes Hospital, where he died.

March suffered a broken left ankle.
