A pair of New York State Troopers are being credited with quick action to help a woman who was choking and the State Fair.

On Friday, Troopers Noah Monge and Justin Accetturi preformed the Heimlich maneuver on the choking victim and dislodged the food from her airway. The woman was briefly treated by EMS personnell at the fair then released, police said.

State Police Superintendant George Beach says it just shows NY State Troopers are always vigilant and ready for an emergency.
