Troopers Ticket 33,000 During Drive Sober Campaign

Albany, NY (WIBX) - State Police issued more than 33,000 during their latest Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.

538 people were arrested for DWI statewide at various checkpoints and patrols.

More than 10,000 drivers were ticketed for speeding, not wearing seatbelts or properly restraining children in vehicles.

The initiative ran from December 14th through January 1st.
