The Turning Stone Resort and Casino will become one of the first venues in New York state to host professional Mixed Martial Arts fights.

Combate Americas and Tuff-N-Uff will be making their east coast debuts at the Turning Stone Events Center on Friday, October 14th.  Combate-Americas, the first U.S. Hispanic MMA sports franchise, will present a six-fight card, while Las Vegas-based Tuff-N-Uff will present six amateur fights.

“Turning Stone has become known for hosting some of most legendary live sporting events in the country, from golf to boxing, and now mixed martial arts,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO.  “On October 14, we will continue that legacy of bringing the best, most highly-anticipated events to our region.”

Tickets for the event are on sale now.  Tickets can be purchased at the Turning Stone Box Office, by calling 877-833 SHOW or online at Ticketmaster.

The 20-year ban on professional mixed martial arts in New York was lifted on Thursday.
