Two Arrested For Allegedly Fabricating Rape Incident

City of Oneida, NY (WIBX) - Two people were taken into custody by State Police in Oneida following an investigation into an alleged rape incident. According to officials, 17-year-old Katalyn M. Fura and 22-year-old Keith R. Drummond were arrested for making a false report about Fura being raped over the Christmas break. An investigation revealed that the suspects fabricated the rape account to school officials to target a male subject they were upset with.

Fura was charged with 2 misdemeanors for providing a false written statement and falsely reporting an incident and was released on appearance tickets returnable in the City of Oneida. Drummond was charged with the misdemeanor of providing a false written statement and also released on an appearance ticket returnable in the City of Oneida.
