Two Arrested for Stealing Video Games From Best Buy in New Hartford

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - Two Rochester residents are facing Felony larceny charges after police say they where caught stealing merchandise from the Best Buy store in New Hartford.

According to police, a store employee watched 29-year old Peron Hill and 28-year old Sabrina Williams leave the store with the stolen merchandise. The employee got their plate number and called police, who picked up the two on Route 840 getting off on the Middle Settlement Road ramp. Police say that when they attempted to pull over the couple, they started to throw the video games out the window. Police were able to stop the car and recover the merchandise.

Both Hill and Williams were charged with Grand Larceny, a Felony and arraigned in New Hartford town court. They were later sent to the Oneida County Jail.
