Two Arrested In Utica After Police Executed Search Warrant

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Officials with the Utica Police Metro Unit arrested two individuals after executing two search warrants following an investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics.

William D. Dart of Mary Street in Utica is facing 2 felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and two misdemeanor charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Kareem D. Mays of Lincoln Avenue in Utica is also facing similar felony and misdemeanor charges.

Police say they found heroin, a large quantity of prescription pills, cocaine and money. The U.S. Marshal Service, New Hartford and Kirkland Police aided UPD's Metro Unit in their investigation and subsequent arrest of the two suspects.
