A Syracuse man is facing multiple charges following a 2-car crash in the Town of Verona.

State Police say they were called to the scene on State Route 365 in front of the Turning Stone Resort Casino.

An investigation revealed the two vehicles collided when 48-year-old Brian Wilson of Syracuse allegedly failed to yield the right of way while attempting to make a U-Turn.

Troopers on the scene interviewed Wilson and detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. Breath and sobriety tests indicated Wilson was allegedly intoxicated and a DMV check showed his license was suspended. It was also discovered that an order of protection was in place between Wilson and his female passenger.

Troopers then discovered a stun gun inside the vehicle. As a result Wilson was charged with DWI after tests indicated his BAC to be .13%, Criminal Contempt, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation. He is being held at Oneida County Jail to await arraignment in the Town of Verona court.
