Two Charged In Car Larceny

Two people are facing charges for allegedly breaking into and stealing items from a car parked at the Oneida County Office building.

Utica Police say 43-year old Rafael Vargas  and 34-year old Catherine Turnage, both from Utica, were found walking nearby with the stolen propety, which included a GPS unit, radio, cell phone and radar detetctor.

Vargas and Turnage were both charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

Vargas was also charged with grand larceny and criminal mischief.
