Two Charged In Herkimer County Camp Burglaries

Salisbury, NY (WIBX) – Two Herkimer County men have been arrested for several camp burglaries in the Town of Salisbury.

State Police have charged 29-year old Ryan Siver of Mohawk and 20-year old Jacob McCooey of Middleville with felony burglary.

Troopers say the pair took a generator, tools, chainsaws and several rifles and shotguns from the camps they entered.

Anyone with a camp located on Jerseyfield Road in Salisbury is asked to check their property and report any break-ins to State Police in Herkimer at 866-7275.
