Two Ilion Residents Charged with Child Endangerment

Two Ilion residents are being charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Ilion Police have arrested 42-year old Anthony T. Jackson of North Third Avenue and 19-year old Mariah A. Jackson of 40 East River Street. Both were charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, which is a misdemeanor, and Disorderly Conduct, which is a violation. There are no additional details and it is not known whether the two arrests are related.

Mariah Jackson is facing an additional charge of harassment.

Following their arrest on February 6, 2014 both were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
