Two men have been arrested and charged with scheme to defraud following a three month investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.

42-year old Shannon Gibbs of Floyd and 57-year old Albert McLiesh, Junior of Rome are accused of writing bad checks to several area businesses totaling over $11,000.

Deputies say the merchandise they bought was later sold to a local pawn shop.
