Two Men Charged With Theft, Sale Of Guns In Waterville

Waterville, NY (WIBX) - Two Waterville men are facing charges following the theft of several guns in the Town of Sangerfield.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol, David Cota, 25, allegedly stole the guns from his father's home on Beaver Creek Road in Sangerfield.

Andrew Marceau, 24, then bought one of Cota's stolen guns in Waterville.

Cota is charged with felony Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, while Marceau faces one misdemeanor count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Deputies say the stolen guns have also been recovered.
