Two Men Detained In Vehicle Larcenies

Oneida Castle, NY (WIBX) - Two men were detained following a series of larcenies from yards and vehicles in Sherrill, the Town of Vernon and Oneida Castle.

Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol says were taken into custody early this morning.

Deputies say the men, one from Oneida and the other from Sylvan Beach, were in possession of stolen property.

One man was charged with petty larceny and the second was released.

The names of the suspects are being withheld pending investigation into possible additional crimes.
