The Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the Child Advocacy Center have arrested two men for two different alleged sexual crimes.

The first arrest was 30-year-old Thomas Zandi Jr. of Rome. He was arrested by Oneida County Sheriff's Office Investigator Melissa Bolton, who is assigned to the CAC. Zandi Jr. is facing a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child. He is accused of inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old female.

The second is 41-year-old James Flatt. Flatt was arrested by two officers with the Child Advocacy Center. He is accused of having inappropriate contact with an 11-year-old female child. He is facing charges of Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both misdemeanors.

Both victims have been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center and orders of protection have been requested by the court on the victims behalf.
