Two Oriskany Men Arrested On Burglary Charges
Two Oriskany men have been arrested in connection with several burglaries across Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties.
Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol says Eric Eichstadt, 54, and Dean Mortise III, 30, were charged with third degree burglary for allegedly breaking into the Holland Patent American Legion and stealing cash.
Police are investigating the two suspects’ possible involvement in other burglaries at diners, recreational businesses and town offices, American Legions and VFW’s.
Both suspects will appear in New York Mills Court on September 3.
