Rome, NY (WIBX) - Two people are facing synthetic drug violations after Rome Police performed premise checks on two Rome head shops.

Police conducted checks at Tebb's on East Dominick Street and Exit 420 on North James Street.

Officers noticed synthetic drugs on display and for sale at Tebb's and were able to obtain synthetic drugs from a cashier at Exit 420.

Tebb's employee Ian Clapps, 30, and  Nicole Dunlap, 18, a clerk at Exit 420, are each charged with one count of possession and one count of sale of synthetic drugs.

This is second arrest made at Exit 420 since April 13th.
