Two Rome Men Charged With Computer Trespass
Two Rome men have been arrested following an investigation into allegations of computer trespass.
Rome Police have charged 44-year old Riccardo Ripa, a former Rome City School District employee and 51-year old Michael Stamboly, a current employee, with computer trespass, a felony.
Police say Ripa had accessed the school district's computer system after his employment had ended with the district and made unauthorized changes to a students class schedule.
They say the investigation also found that Stamboly had provided Ripa with the access to a computer connected to the school district's computer system.
