Two new sculptures have been added to the Griffiss International Sculpture Garden.

The piece "The Wings of Change" by Southern Tier artist James Seaman was installed today at the first round-about on the newly constructed Route 825.

The stainless steel sculpture features a winged Pegasus with fighter jet trails.  It has a wing span of 16 feet and weighs over one ton.

This is Seaman's second piece in the Sculpture Garden. He also created "Nature's Wrath", the eagle sculpture in the middle round-about.

The other sculpture installation has been completed in the Route 825 East Hangar Road round-about. The artist is Osman Akan and his piece is titled "Cyber."

"The Wings  of Change" and "Cyber"were funded by the Griffiss Land Owners Association.
