Three or more suspects are on the loose in two separate shots fired incidents that occurred in Utica during the early morning hours of Thursday, November 14, 2013.

At about 3:12am officers responded to a report of a home invasion in which a shot was fired on the 1100 block of Leeds Street.

The victim said that three men carrying guns forced their way into his home and threatened him.  They stole money and then attacked him before running off.  He received a head injury.

He described all three men as being about five feet ten inches tall.  Two were wearing blue hooded sweatshirts and jeans.  One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Seven minutes later, at approximately 3:19am officers responded to another report of shots fired, this time at a home on the 700 block of Saint Mary Street.

The victim in the second incident, 35-year old Jesse Patterson, had been shot in the leg. Residents in the neighborhood told police that they heard between five and ten shots fired. The victim would not give police any information.
