Two  Pennsylvania teenagers are dead in a two vehicle crash in which underage drinking, speed and failure to wear seat belts are listed as contributing factors.

State Police say 19-year-old Troy Stone of Wyalusing was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on State Route 706 near the intersection with State Route 409 in Wyalusing at around 9:15 p.m. August 29 when he crossed the center line while attempting to pass another vehicle.

Stone’s truck hit a compact sport utility vehicle in the on-coming lane spinning it around.  Stone’s vehicle hit several trees and came to rest down an embankment.

Passengers in the truck: 18-year-olds Colin Flynn and Brendan Hall died. Stone and another passenger, 20-year-old Kara Johnson along with the driver of the other vehicle, 33-year-old Staci Short of Wyalusing, were hurt.

Police say no one was wearing a seat belt.

The investigation is continuing.
