Two teens are recovering after being shot at a house party on Miller Street in Utica early Sunday morning.

Utica Police say the 16 and 18-year old girls suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Police say it's possible that the victims may have been hit by stray bullets and were not the intended targets.

A total of 14 spent bullet casings were found on the scene.

Due to the number of party attendees, police believe there were several witnesses to the shooting.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the UPD at 223-3503.
