Two Utica Men Arrested On Robbery Charges

Two Utica men have been arrested on robbery charges after an altercation on Varick Street early Friday morning.

According to Utica Police, two officers responded to a parking lot on the corner of Varick and Court Street where they saw two men chasing a third man around a car.

After separating the men, officers learned that Nasib Abdallah, 18, and Amin Hayder, 16, were allegedly trying to rob the third man of his cell phone.

Both Abdallah and Hayder are charged with 2nd degree robbery.
