U.S. Immagration Fugitive Apprehended in Utica

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Fugitive from Justice was apprehended in Utica over the weekend. According to authorities, 43-year old Manual Carrasco of West Street in Utica was taken into custody after it's alleged he poked his girlfriend in the stomach with a knife, then slashed her face with it.

When Utica Police arrived, they say Carrasco fled, by jumping into his pickup truck and driving away, nearly running over the responding officer. Carrasco was apprehended a short time later hiding in his basement. After he was taken into custody, it was discovered that he was wanted by U-S Immigration.
