The Utica College men's hockey team continues to gain ground in the National Poll and the Pioneers were ranked No. 10 in the most recent edition of the rankings released Tuesday.

UC recently completed a weekend sweep on the road at Suffolk and Wentworth as they improved their overall record to 13-4 headed into a key ECAC Men's West Conference contest on Friday night at Elmira.

Utica needs three victories over the course of its next eight games to tie the school-record for wins in a single-season set by the 2004-05 edition of the Pioneers that won the conference regular season title and closed outs their campaign with a 16-5-6 overall record.
