United Way Holds 9/11 Day Of Service At Veterans Outreach Center

Volunteers from the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area and the Parkway Rec Center are taking part in a 9/11 Day of Service today.

They're re-stocking the food pantry at the CNY Veterans Outreach Center in Utica.  Sara Spezzano, Director of Communications at the Parkway Center, says they collected food donations throughout the month of August.

Volunteers also planted flowers in front of the Outreach Center on Washington Street.

More than 50 volunteers are participating in the 9/11 Day of Service.
