United Way Seeking Grant Applications

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica area is accepting grant requests for its Community Empowerment Grant Program.The one-time grant awards up to five-thousand dollars to programs making a postive impact in the fields of health, education and financial self-sufficiency.

Grant requests can be made for program-specific costs, capacity building or capital expenses.

To learn more about the application process, how many grants will be distributed and whether you qualify for funding, an information session will be held next Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 at the United Way offices on Lafayette Street in Utica.
