United Way To Host First Ever “Day Of Thanks”

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area is taking some time to thank everyone who contributed to last year's Annual Campaign.

During the first ever "Day of Thanks" scheduled for February 7th and 8th, volunteers, board members and staff will visit and call, to thank local businesses donating to the 2011 Campaign.

In addition, more than 1,500 post cards were mailed out and PSA's will air during the second week of February.

According to the non-profit group, more than 10,000 donors contributed.
