Utica, NY (WIBX) - The United Way Board of Directors announced their funding allocations for this year.

Beginning in July, the United Way will invest 1.4 million dollars into Herkimer and Oneida Counties.

The United Way offers support to the community in the areas of Health, Education, Income, and Community Safety Net.

"United Way is able to meet the needs of many children, families, and individuals in our community due to the generosity of our donors and volunteers," says Brenda Episcopo, Executive Director. 

The United Way has continued to serve the community for over 90 years.
