Utica, NY (WIBX) - It didn't take too long for Utica Police to arrest another alleged drunk driver accused of plowing into a utility pole. This latest incident happened around 2 o'clock this morning at the intersection of Rutger Street and Brinkerhoff Avenue.

And, according to UPD it's the third accident, in less than a week and a half, in which a car struck a utility pole in the city. Police determined the driver, 36-year-Darryl Weather of John Street, was intoxicated following a sobriety test. Weather was arrested and charged with DWI, a Misdemeanor. He's also facing a host of traffic summons.
