UPD: Don’t Forget To Register Alarm Systems

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Utica Police Department is reminding residents and business owners who have  alarm systems installed that they have to register them with the City Clerk's Office.

There is a one-time fee of $25.00.

The UPD has recently notifed about 300 residents and businesses and mailed out another 200 notices on Wednesday.

If a person or business fails to register their alarm, they will be issued an appearance ticket.
