UPD: Evicted Man Jailed After Violent Attempt To Return

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A man evicted from his home is in jail for allegedly threatening the landlord with a screwdriver. Utica Police say, 56-year-old Oscar Boykin, tried breaking back into the apartment he was kicked out of with the screwdriver. And, when confronted by the landlord, he threatened him with it.

The incident happened around 8:00 last night on First Street in Utica.

Boykin is charged with:

• Menacing, a Misdemeanor
• Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a Class D Felony
