Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police are asking the public for help in catching two suspects involved in an early morning robbery in the area of Bennett and Springate Street.

According to officials, police responded to a call for an assault around 12:20 Wednesday morning. The victim was walking when two black men allegedly approached him. He was then struck in the head with a blunt object and robbed.

The suspects later fled, running eastbound on Sherman Drive.

Anyone with information is urged to call the UPD.
