UPD Investigating Possible Shooting Incident
Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police say they’re still investigating an incident that occurred yesterday morning, involving a man who threatened to harm himself with a gun. According to officials who responded to the resident on Grant Street, the man barricaded himself inside the home—refusing to come out.
Officials say the man subsequently existed the house and was taken into custody. The preliminary investigation report states that a loaded 9 millimeter handgun was found along with a bullet hole in the window of the home. Noone was injured during the incident and officials say the suspect is still undergoing an evaluation at a local hospital.
