Police Investigating Shooting At Kennedy Plaza Apartments

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police say they are investigating a shooting that happened at the Kennedy Plaza Apartments this afternoon. Officials say a male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Sergeant Steve Hauck, Public Information Officer for the department said they are in the early stages of their investigation however, he did confirm that there is only one victim, and said the shooting happened around 3:18 p.m. at the East Tower of the Kennedy Plaza.
