UPD Officially Charge Suspect In Shooting Incident

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police have officially charged a suspect who barricaded himself in a home on Grant street earlier this week after a domestic dispute.  Officials charged 21-year-old Edward Nunez with Reckless Endangerment. Investigators accuse him of firing a 9 millimeter handgun during the incident. According to police, the shot struck a window however, noone was injured during. Officials say their investigation is still on going and Nunez could face additional charges. Nunez underwent a medical evaluation at a local hospital following the incident.
