UPD Release Identity of Murder Victim in First Homicide of 2014

Utica Police are now releasing the name of the victim of a fatal gunshot wound sustained on January 18, 2014.

The Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office says that the victim has now been positively identified as 23-year old Andrew Oliver-Kenney of Utica.

His family had spoken with reporters earlier in the week but the Utica Police Department  did not release the information until the identity had been confirmed by the medical examiner in the case.
