UPD Responds To Shots Fired Incident In West Utica

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police are investigating a shots fired incident in West Utica.

Just after midnight this morning, officers responded to Noyes Street and Lenox Avenue, when they spotted two men running from the area near Warren Street.

UPD Officer Holt and his K-9 partner attempted to speak with them, but the two fled. One man ran into a yard, and as he jumped the fence, reached into his waistband.

The chase resulted in the discovery of a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun, but the suspects could not be found.
