Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police officials say they executed a search warrant today following a lengthy investigation, and arrested 46-year-old Bobby Ross of Utica.

Investigators say they uncovered over 100 counterfeit items, such as name brand handbags and shoes. Official say they also recovered a stolen loaded .25 caliber Raven Arms handgun during their search of the suspects residence on Stark Street. According to the report, Marcy State Police reported the stolen weapon.

Police say the suspect is facing the following charges:

  • 3 counts of Trademark Counterfeit 3rd- A misdemeanors
  • Criminal Possession of a weapon 3rd (previous conviction)- D Felony
  • Criminal Possession of stolen property 4th- E felony

The report states that the following law enforcement officials assisted in the investigation and subsequent execution of the search warrant: Criminal Investigation Division Metro Unit; Oneida County Drug Task Force Warrants Unit and the U.S. Marshal's Service Crime Scene Unit.
