UPD: Shots Fired Overnight On Columbia Street
Utica Police are looking for information regarding a shots fired incident which occurred early Friday morning.
A release from the UPD says officers were called to Columbia Street, near Varick Street, for a report of gunshots at around 1:15 a.m. Friday morning. Police did not find a victim but did find an unoccupied vehicle that had been hit by gunfire.
Police are asking anyone with information on a suspect to call them at 315-223-3510. All calls can remain confidential.
UPDATED 10:15 a.m.- Lt. Bryan Coromato says the vehicle was occupied and they're still trying to determine if the the driver of the vehicle was the intended victim. He was not injured.
