UPDATE: Injury At Solid Waste Authority Results In Death

The man injured at the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority has died from his injuries.

Utica police are reporting that at approximately 12:15 p.m. Kelvin Sperry, 56, of Osborne Hill Road in Herkimer was pinned between a dumpster and compactor. Sperry was transported to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

UPD is reconstructing the scene and say the facility is cooperating fully with the investigation.
